Clinic Aide – Full-Time ⬇️

Norton County Hospital has a full-time position available for an Aide in the Norton Medical Clinic. Primary responsibilities include assisting providers, collecting vital statistics and reasons for patient visits, updating the electronic health record for patients, prepping exam rooms, and stocking supplies. Normal schedule is Monday-Friday during Clinic hours and possible Saturday morning rotation. Previous experience in patient care and utilization of healthcare software is preferred.

CNA – Full-Time Day Shift⬇️

Norton County Hospital has an opening for a full time day shift CNA to join our healthcare team. This is an opportunity to work with acute care, surgical, and skilled levels of care in a progressive hospital. This position also does patient registration during their shift. Full time positions include a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. Acute care shifts are 12-hours shifts.

Laboratory Tech (MT or MLT) — Full Time, Part Time or PRN⬇️

Norton County Hospital has a full-time, part-time or PRN employment opportunity for a Lab Tech in our Laboratory department. Applicant should be an MT, MLS or MLT with an ASCP certification or eligible for certification. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Normal full-time schedule is 40 hours per week with rotating on-call schedule for nights, weekends and holidays. Part-time or PRN hours will vary. Applicant must be organized, detail-oriented, have excellent communication, customer service and computer skills, and be able to multi-task.

Occupational Therapist — Part Time or Full Time⬇️

Norton County Hospital has an immediate opening for an Occupational Therapist in our Rehabilitation department. Contact Human Resources for hiring incentives. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and have current or obtain Kansas licensure prior to start date. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing all inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy evaluations and treatments and will manage their own caseload. This position could be either part time or full time for the candidate who is self-driven and motivated to build the OT program. This position will have varying hours Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

This is a great opportunity to work in a busy, up-tempo environment with a mix of inpatient and outpatient evaluations and treatments. RN Charge Nurse – Full-Time Night Shift⬇️

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for an RN to join our healthcare team. This position is 12-hour night shifts, with rotating weekends and holiday schedule. The RN Charge Nurse provides direct patient care to ER and inpatients and assumes shift supervision including directing patient care activities, supporting peers, functioning as a clinical resource, and liaison to the Acute Care Manager. This position will work with ER, acute, skilled and intermediate levels of patient care.

Network Engineer – Full Time⬇️

Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity for a Network Engineer. This position will maintain the hospital’s network and software including installing, configuring and supporting the network infrastructure. Applicant should be experienced with network hardware, have knowledge of network protocols, be familiar with network monitoring and management tools, and have excellent problem solving and analytical skills. This position is full-time with office hours typically Monday-Friday, with shared on-call time. A computer network engineering or computer science degree and 5 years of applicable experience is preferred.

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Install, configure and maintain network hardware and software
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime
  • Collaborate with CIO & IT Tech to develop and implement network security measures
  • Design and implement a network infrastructure based on organizational requirements
  • Monitor network performance, system availability, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Conduct regular network maintenance including updating software and hardware
  • Document network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Provide network engineering support and training to other team members

Dietary – Full Time 11:00am-7:30pm⬇️

Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity in our Dietary Department. This position will be scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., 5 days per week. The schedule will include every other weekend and holiday shift rotation. Extra shift differential pay applies for evening hours, weekends, and holidays. This position may also rotate into some day shifts such as 5:30 am-2:00 pm. Duties include preparing the evening meal each shift and assisting with lunch and afternoon tasks in the department.
