RN — Full Time Outpatient Services

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity available for an RN to join our health care team. Must have current Kansas RN license and have or obtain required certification including BLS, ACLS and PALS. Preferred applicant will have PICC line experience or must be willing to learn this skill. This position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm most days. Schedule may vary based on outpatient services or specialty clinics.

RN — Full Time Mid-Shift (10:00 am start)

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for an RN to join our health care team. This position is 12-hour mid-shift from 10:00 am to 10:30 pm. This position’s schedule will be set and not participate in self-scheduling, work every third weekend which will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every third holiday. This position will work with acute, skilled and intermediate levels of patient care as well as in labor and delivery. Director of Nursing — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time career opportunity for a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing staff. We are a 25-bed progressive critical access hospital located in Norton, Kansas. It is our goal to serve the vital need for quality health care for our community members in the County and the surrounding area.

Surgery Manager, RN

Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity for Registered Nurse as a Surgery Manager. Norton County Hospital has an employment opportunity for a full-time night shift CNA to join our health care team. This is an opportunity to work with acute care, surgical, and skilled levels of care in a progressive hospital. This position also does patient registration. Full-time positions include a rotating weekend and holiday schedule. Acute care shifts are 12-hour shifts.

Dietary — Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a part-time employment opportunity in the Dietary department. The primary hours of this position will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be scheduled in the weekend and holiday rotation. Weekend and holiday shifts also include additional differential pay. Duties include helping with lunch and preparing supper as well as department cleaning. Some weekly hours may be scheduled during 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. when necessary and would also assist with breakfast.

Available part-time benefits will be determined on the scheduled hours per week and may include paid time off; KPERS retirement, life and long-term disability insurance; and health insurance if hours qualify.

Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has an immediate, full-time career opportunity for a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). The LSCSW will provide quality clinical behavioral health services including comprehensive diagnostic behavioral health assessments, interventions, education, advocacy, referrals and consultations primarily for patients of Norton Medical Clinic. Candidate will also provide services for Norton County Hospital and community partners, as needed.

Housekeeping — Full Time or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time or part-time employment opportunity in our Environmental Services department. Environmental Services staff are responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital, clinic and facilities. The full-time position is scheduled 8-hour shifts and has rotating weekend and holiday schedules which include differential pay. Shift start times will vary based on duties assigned. Medical Clinic Patient Access Representative — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity for a Patient Access Representative in the Norton Medical Clinic. Primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, scheduling clinic appointments, registering patients, insurance verifications, point of service payment explanation including collections, and answering patient questions. The Patient Access Representative is often the first person visitors see at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and computer skills, the ability to multi-task, great attention to detail, and constant focus on quality and confidentiality. The work week for this position is based upon office hours of the clinic, includes some Saturday mornings, and has a normal work week of 40 hours.
