Chief of Clinical Operations — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a new career opportunity for a Chief of Clinical Operations. This position will be responsible for the medical portion of administration to increase efficiency, compliance with policies, clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. The Chief of Clinical Operations is also responsible for planning, directing, evaluating all medical activities within the facility in coordination with Medical Staff.

CNA — Part Time Night Shift

Norton County Hospital has an employment opportunity for a part-time night shift CNA to join our health care team. This is an opportunity to work with acute care, surgical and skilled levels of care. This position does patient registration when needed and includes a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Dietary — Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a part-time employment opportunity in the Dietary department. The primary hours of this position will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be scheduled in the weekend and holiday rotation. Weekend and holiday shifts also include additional differential pay. Duties include helping with lunch and preparing supper as well as department cleaning. Some weekly hours may be scheduled during 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. when necessary and would also assist with breakfast.

Available part-time benefits will be determined on the scheduled hours per week and may include paid time off, KPERS retirement, life and long-term disability insurance, and health insurance if hours qualify.

Rehabilitation Patient Access Representative — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time opportunity for a Patient Access Representative in our Physical Therapy department. Duties include scheduling and registering patients, collecting accurate insurance information, collecting co-pays and other payments, maintaining patient charts and related paperwork, preparing exam rooms and patient areas, and direct customer service with patients and community. This position is scheduled 40 hours a week Monday through Friday. Must have excellent communication and computer skills, provide great customer service, strong critical thinking and time management skills, and maintain confidentiality. Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has an immediate, full-time career opportunity for a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW). The LSCSW will provide quality clinical behavioral health services including comprehensive diagnostic behavioral health assessments, interventions, education, advocacy, referrals and consultations primarily for patients of Norton Medical Clinic. Candidate will also provide services for Norton County Hospital and community partners, as needed.

Surgery Scrub Technologist/Nurse — PRN or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a PRN or part-time career opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech position. Applicant must be either a RN, LPN or Scrub Technologist with two years of experience working in surgery preferred. Part-time position may qualify for some benefits depending on hours scheduled.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to pre-operative cleaning of surgery equipment, preparing sterile equipment and supplies, assists surgeon with prepping patient, post-op dressings and prepare for recovery room, prepares surgical specimen for laboratory and post-op disinfection.

Patient Registration and Admissions — Full Time

Norton County Hospital has a career opportunity in our admissions area of the business office for a Patient Access Representative. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Primary responsibilities include registering patients, insurance verification, point of service payment estimation and collection, providing and explaining forms to patients, answering any patient questions, and helping patients feel comfortable when waiting to see the physician or other ancillary departments. The Patient Access Representative is often the first person a patient or visitor sees when they arrive at the facility. This applicant must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Applicant must also have strong computer skills and work efficiently with attention to detail. Occupational Therapist — Part Time or PRN

Norton County Hospital has a part-time or PRN career opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in our Rehabilitation department. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program and have current or obtain Kansas licensure prior to start date. This position will have varying hours Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Qualified applicant should be able to work in a busy, up-tempo environment with a mix of inpatient and outpatient evaluations and treatments. Housekeeping — Full Time or Part Time

Norton County Hospital has a full-time or part-time employment opportunity in our Environmental Services department. Environmental Services staff are responsible for cleaning all areas of the hospital, clinic and facilities. The full-time position is scheduled 8-hour shifts and has rotating weekend and holiday schedules which include differential pay. Shift start times will vary based on duties assigned. Norton County Hospital has a full-time employment opportunity for a Patient Access Representative in the Norton Medical Clinic. Primary responsibilities include greeting and assisting visitors, scheduling clinic appointments, registering patients, insurance verifications, point of service payment explanation including collections, and answering patient questions. The work week for this position is based upon office hours of the clinic, includes some Saturday mornings, and has a normal work week of 40 hours.
