Shannan Hempler, Human Resources

Shannan Hempler is the director of Human Resources and Accounts Payable at Norton County Hospital. A native of Downs, Kansas, Shannan attended Kansas State University and received a bachelor's degree in business management, with a secondary focus in industrial labor relations.

Her numerous HR duties include hiring, benefits administration, payroll, timekeeping, work comp, governmental reporting and compliance, employment policies, retirement plans and accounts payable. Shannan is married and has four daughters. Her No. 1 priority outside of work is spending time with her family. She spent almost 15 years on the Board of Directors at a local nonprofit daycare and is a Sunday School teacher.
