Julie Kitt, Laboratory Manager

Julie Kitt is a Medical Laboratory Scientist with 11 years of experience in both high-volume hospitals and rural healthcare settings. She began her career in 2014 at a 1,200-bed government hospital in the Philippines, where she gained hands-on experience in bench work, phlebotomy, training interns, and supervising shifts.

In 2018, she moved to the United States and joined Sheridan County Health Complex in Hoxie, Kansas, as a bench technologist. She later advanced to the role of laboratory manager, overseeing daily operations, staffing, compliance, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance while continuing to perform a wide range of laboratory tests.

Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from Velez College in Cebu City, Philippines. She is passionate about delivering accurate, high-quality laboratory results that support excellent patient care.

She lives in McCook, Nebraska, with her husband and young son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and planning their next adventure.
