Logan Clinic update provided by City of Logan, Norton County Hospital

July 6, 2017

LOGAN, Kan. – In the midst of staffing changes and financial losses recently at Norton County Hospital, the hospital and City of Logan have joined forces to provide clarity and insight on the future of Logan Clinic. Both the hospital and city are wanting to be transparent regarding Logan Clinic operations and to keep the public informed of future decisions.

Among those changes is one that directly affects Logan Clinic – the resignation of Jennifer Taylor, physician assistant, who is the most frequent medical provider at Logan Clinic. Her last day with Norton County Hospital, Norton Medical Clinic and Logan Clinic will be in mid-September.

“Despite this news, we want to assure patients in Logan that we are working on solutions that are in the best interests of the hospital and City of Logan,” said Gina Frack, Norton County Hospital’s interim CEO. “We will continue to work closely with the City of Logan during these times of change while we evaluate the full scope of our services at the hospital, Norton Medical Clinic and Logan Clinic.”

Patients can still make appointments and walk in as needed at Logan Clinic. The number to Logan Clinic is 785-689-7464. More updates will continue to be provided as they become available.
