NORTON, Kan. – Norton County Hospital would like to invite anyone interested in learning about our local health care system to a community meeting on Wednesday, Oct 2nd. The meeting will be hosted from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the basement of Prairie Land Electric Cooperative, 14935 U.S. Highway 36, Norton.
The event is the second meeting in planned regular community-wide meetings being hosted by the hospital to educate on the current status of local health care provided at the hospital and its clinic, Norton Medical Clinic, as well as allow administration and board members to answer questions posed by the public.
The first meeting was hosted in April 2019 and was attended by more than 60 people. At the October meeting, Gina Frack, Norton County Hospital CEO, plans to continue the dialogue by giving updates on the four focus areas of the hospital’s current strategic plan; those areas include Facility, Funding and Public Support, Recruitment and Retention, and Regional Needs. She will also go over the new vision, mission and values for the hospital.
If you have questions about the event on Oct. 2nd, please call Norton County Hospital at 785-877-3351 and ask for Alesha Vahling. You may RSVP for this event by contacting Alesha as well. A RSVP is not required but is appreciated by Sept. 30th to plan accordingly for the event.
