Rehabilitation department moving to new location in Norton

Outpatient nursing services to occupy former rehab location.

September 14, 2022

NORTON, Kan. – Norton County Hospital would like to inform the public of some departmental moves taking place in the near future. The hospital’s Rehabilitation department that has called the lower west side of the hospital its home, is moving to the county building that also currently houses the Colby Community College, Norton campus. It is located at 711 N. Norton Ave.

Patients are being notified that their appointments, starting Sept. 19, will be at the new location. Patients are asked to come in the north door, where they will be greeted by reception staff to check in. Patients, therefore, should try to park on the north side of the building, particularly those patients with mobility issues.

The Norton County Hospital’s Rehabilitation phone number remains the same, and appointments can be scheduled by calling 785-874-2222.

Once the Rehabilitation department has made its move, outpatient nursing services that includes infusion and wound care (among several other services), will take occupancy in the hospital’s lower west side space. Patients for these services will still check in at the Outpatient and Specialty Clinic entrance and take the elevator to the lower level. Outpatient nursing can be reached by calling 785-874-2219.

The hospital thanks the community for its patience while these moves take place, as it works to continue providing an exceptional patient experience.
