Norton County Hospital's Clinical Informatics & IT departments are managed by a registered nurse who performs routine support with the Electronic Healthcare Record (EHR), installation, and training providers and clinical staff to utilize the system. The RN must research, analyze and make changes to create workflow improvements.
NCH previously used the Centriq software from Healthland/CPSI. We updated our EHR in the Hospital to Centriq in March 2014 and put the Norton Medical Clinic on an EHR from paper in May 2015. Then, in 2023, the hospital and clinic transitioned to the Cerner Community Works EHR.
